Based around Intel’s® technologies and maximising the use of the Square Mile infrastructure, the Digi Yacht allows sailors to enjoy a “Digital Home” afloat. Tailoring it to the specific needs of boat users, the Digi Yacht brings together wireless broadband internet access, DVD, TV, Music systems and Digital security cameras under the management of one system.

These people include many who live on their boats, both inland and around the coast, as well as those who spend much of their leisure time afloat.” The Digi Yacht Media Centre Edition Solutions runs the latest Microsoft ® Windows XP Media Centre Edition, allowing users to connect to the web, run DVDs, security web cameras, MP3s and calls using VoIP (Voice over IP). This is controlled using one remote control via the simple Media Centre on screen interface. The digital entertainer is also an extremely fast state of the art Windows XP computer providing the highest quality digital entertainment available today.
Small waterproof security cameras can be installed to connect to the Digi Yacht Media Centre, to watch over the boat when the owner is not there, recording any movements and notifying the owner by text message or email alert as required. The owner can login and check the boat or the weather at the marina from the comfort of their desk, home or mobile phone.
