The announcement was made in advance of the EclipseCon 2006 conference, being held in California this week. “It will be exciting to see what results from two large and active open source software communities coming together,” said Mike Milinkovich, executive director of the Eclipse Foundation. “We welcome the contributions from MySQL AB and their database developer community to our efforts.”
