Eagle Mobile, the newest mobile telephony in Albania, launched the initiative “Business in support of the orphan children”! Although with only 9 months in the Albanian telecommunication market, Eagle Mobile has taken concrete steps in the social responsibility field.
“We cannot wait until we get old as a company to undertake such initiatives” Eagle Mobile CEO Ali TASKIN said while welcoming on this occasion the President of Foundation “Albanian Children” Mrs. Liri BERISHA, the General Director of the National Integration Institute of Orphan Children Mr. Ilir Çumani, the MP of the Republican Party Mrs. Lajla Përnaska, as well the winner of “Big Brother Albania” Mr. Arbër Çepani.
Twenty young orphans of ages 15 – 17 years old, have been welcomed by Mr. Taskin who gave to each of them one mobile telephone and many necessary school materials for them. “Our door will be opened for the orphan children. I will write and ask different companies like BKT, Albtelecom, Alpet etc. to join this way. All together should support these children, these youths! Eagle is an Albanian company and is our obligation to support the young people, the future of the country” Mr. Taskin said in his speech. He added that the young orphans who will get the high results is school, will be employed at Eagle Mobile.
Mrs. Liri Berisha thanked Eagle Mobile company for this undertaking, very important according to her. “Besides this, I would like to make appeal to all companies and businesses to sustain these children in need, in order that they as well could feel the lacked familiar warmth” Mrs. Berisha said. She added that in this way we help in the healing of a social wound in Albania.
Mr. Ilir Çumani, guaranteed the support and partnership of the National Integration Institute of the Orphan Children for undertaking concrete projects. He thanked Eagle Mobile for the undertaken initiative and made sure that will make every possible effort for its success.
Therefore Eagle Mobile becomes the first company which starts the initiative “Business in support of the orphan children” aiming the sensitization of this part of society, in aid of those who are in need of the parental warmth more then everyone else.
Eagle Mobile has undertaken many projects in the framework of the social responsibility of the company. In Shkodra and Gjirokastra Elder’s Houses have donated electro domestic equipments for which they have necessity for. Also, a special aid is given to the kindergarten of SOS village in Tirana with toys and entertaining means. The donation is done again pursuant to the request of the managers of this institution based on the concrete needs for materials.
Also Eagle Mobile could not remain without helping those who have just open their eyes and confront the coldness of life. The Baby House in Tirana is provided with the most necessary materials for babies. Also, a determined fund is donated for plastic toys to the children of this age.
Lately Eagle Mobile, in collaboration with Ministry of Interior, will send an SMS to more then 230 000 subscribers asking them to support the children of policemen killed during the duty. The cost of an SMS will be 100 Albanian Lek.
