London, January 2011: Cyber-Duck, a multiple award winning digital agency has announced the launch of a brand new web presence for The Far Horizons luxury safari tours.
The tours give tourists the opportunity to come face to face with animals like Mountain Gorillas, Lions and Elephants in their natural habitat. Amongst the options are tours with Wildlife photographer and photojournalist, Stephen Cunliffe, joining him in some of his favourite areas in East Africa.
The website allows users to take an in-depth look at a variety of up-market tours in Uganda and Rwanda, including their route and a detailed description of the activities on each day. Its striking appearance stands well apart from competitors with its easily recognisable, unique interface.
The easy-to-use search interface enables people to find the tour which is perfect for them quickly and effortlessly.
Founders Patrick and Victoria Shah, who live and work in Africa, wanted to create something visually stunning which might start to show what the visitor could expect from embarking on one of their tours.
CEO of The Far Horizons, Patrick Shah was thrilled with the new website, stating: “The selection process for web designers 7 months ago was a harrowing affair, with much soul searching and fingernails bitten to the quick. The Far Horizons are extremely pleased (and relieved!) that we went with Cyber-Duck… the site is a triumph, and ticks all the boxes and more. The new site can boast additional features such as an interactive wizard which enables the user to custom build their perfect safari tour and customisation of the Google Maps API to show a point on the map for each day of each tour itinerary. The map displays a short snippet of information about each stage of the tour, as well as details on accommodation, dates and prices.
