Turkish Linux Users Association, together with TOBB University of Economics and Technology are organizing the 2nd Free Software Conference between 20-21 June, 2008. The conference will be held in Ankara, capital of Turkey for the second time.
The program lists more than 40 presentations, with one third being paper presentations. Attendees will also enjoy tutorials covering a wide spectrum of informative talks and seminars, directed to desktop users, developers and system administrators, i.e PHP, Python, Ajax, GNOME, mail servers, virtualization, JBoss and network security.
The event is sponsored by many national and international organizations, including Intel, Yahoo, Novell, Turksat, IBM, Sun Microsystems, Chamber of Electronics Engineers, Informatics Association of Turkey and Profelis.
All papers and tutorials are open for all Linux and open source enthusiasts, from developers to end users, from public sector IT staff to decision makers in enterprises. The conference is free of charge.
