Eagle Mobile, the newest GSM telephony company in Albania, started today offering to the public institutions its services on a special tariff. The agreement was signed today in the headquarters of the Ministry of Public Works, Transport and Telecommunications, from the Minister Sokol Olldashi and the General Director of Eagle Mobile, Ali Taskin.
Based to this agreement, Eagle Mobile will offer its telephony services to 8 ministry employees. Some 70 000 employees of the public administration will benefit from the tariffs and services of this company.
“We negotiated considerably and had a concrete result now. The administration employees will enjoy these tariffs. This agreement will have double benefits; firstly the operative expenses will be reduced for that contingent of employees, whose telephony expenses are faces partly or completely from the state, and this development will be in the favor of the officials which are going to take the decision because they will pay very few, and so the service become cheaper,” Minister Sokol Olldashi emphasized. He also thanked the technical staff of the Ministry and Eagle Mobile for making possible such an agreement.
“We are happy that Eagle Mobile has shown its potential in such a short period. We will offer our services not just only to 70 thousand employees of the public administration, but also to their family members. Meanwhile the other public institutions who desire to be inside this tariff and opportunity, are welcomed,” the General Director of Eagle Mobile Ali Taskin said. He thanked the Albanian government and especially the Ministry of Public Works, Transport and Telecommunications for their support in this competition process of the GSM telephony in Albania.
“Lately presented tariff of the public institutions, will give the chance to the employees to talk economically not only inside their institution, but also towards the other institutions that are part of this tariff program. For the first time in Albania, Eagle Mobile has built such a tariff program including multiple groups within a single special prepaid and postpaid tariff,” tols Mr. Taskin.
Eagle Mobile Company was the winner of the competitive procedure, between three GSM companies operating in the country, on offering the full services to the public administration employees.
After the negotiations with the winning company Eagle Mobile, MPWTT prepared an agreement over providing this telephony service. According to the agreement all the administration will be included to a single group and the tariffs of this group will be 5 Leks per minute.
The contract is signed to be valid for a year.
Eagle supports Albtelecom Company on the project “internet to the schools”
“Eagle Mobile brought the competition to the Albanian telecommunication market and will continue its way in this direction. Lastly, Eagle Mobile supports the project of Albtelecom Company providing internet to all the Albanian schools. Eagle Mobile will provide internet to 1600 schools all over the country,” General Director of Eagle Mobile Ali Taskin told in a press communication.
Mr. Taskin emphasized also that Eagle Mobile, has became a promoter of Albania image and improvements of the tourism sector in this country. He presented to the journalists the new Eagle Mobile voucher cards, printed with images showing several beautiful zones of Albania. This project was undertaken on collaboration with Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports.
