On 31st December 2005, the current BACSTEL system will be switched off and replaced by BACSTEL-IP, BACS’ new payment submission platform. Organisations that have not yet migrated to the new system face an escalating challenge as the time available to migrate shortens and demand for implementation resource increases. Voca, formerly known as BACS, the UK clearing house for all Direct Debit and Direct Credit payments, is encouraging all of its customers to put in place migration plans without delay.
