Now in their 11th year, the GSMA Awards are the most coveted across the mobile communications world, celebrating excellence, recognising achievement, strengthening innovation and delivering entertainment to mobile users around the world.
Among new categories for 2006 are the Mobile Entertainment Awards, providing the opportunity to showcase ‘made-for-mobile’ games, music, video, and sports services at the mobile industry’s leading annual event – the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona (13-16 February 2006).
The Mobile Innovation Award, also new for 2006, is designed to bring the ideas and achievements of innovators in small and start-up companies to the attention of industry investors and mobile operators.
Additional categories include Best Mobile Handsets, Enterprise & Messaging Applications, as well as categories for technical innovations, community initiatives and marketing & promotion.
Deadline is 30th November 2006! The awards are open to both members and
non-members of the GSM Association. The 2006 Awards winners will be announced at a glittering gala evening in Barcelona on February 14 2006.
