Cher Fong will be instrumental in supporting ip.access’ drive to roll out the nanoGSM™ solution for in-building GSM coverage and capacity across the Asia-Pacific region. The solution has already been deployed for SMART Communications, the leading mobile network operator in the Philippines, and for Blue Sky Communications in American Samoa, and is currently in trial deployments in China and Singapore.
Cher Fong arrives from Ericsson, the largest supplier of mobile systems in the world, where as Head of Business Consulting he was responsible for developing business strategies and securing major deals in China, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Singapore. Prior to Ericsson, Cher Fong was Senior Investment Manager for AIDEC Management Company and Business Development Manager for Singapore Telecom International.
