The best clips will be turned into mobile ringtones, videos and screen savers for the Mad Dog online community to download to their phones. Top category winners will also receive a new iDog, the robotic pooch which listens, moves and grooves to music.
Mad Dog Mobile will use the latest mobile marketing technology to promote the site and extend Mad Dog members’ experience onto their mobile phones. For example, the preview site gave visitors the opportunity to download an application which put the Mad Dog Mobile branding on the mobile phone interface and allowed users to do a competition and download wallpapers.
The site will also be promoted through advertising, sponsorships and a nationwide PR campaign. Additional co-marketing promotions are in the works and Mad Dog Mobile is also seeking out key partners for joint efforts.
