The national campaign “One with Nature” initiated by Eagle Mobile and supported by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Environment is closed in Kamez town. Eagle Mobile CEO Mr. Ali Taskin, the Minister of Education and Science Mr. Myqerem Tafaj, the Minister of Environment, Forest and Water Administration Mr. Fatmir Mediu and the Mayor of Kamez Mr. Xhelal Mziu along with 250 students of “Ibrahim Rugova” high school participated in the cleaning operation in Kamez streets.
The process started in “Ibrahim Rugova” high school to be extended then in other areas of the town.
CEO of Eagle Mobile Mr. Ali Taskin said that “for Eagle Mobile 2010 is the Year of Environment and we are very happy to undertake such projects. We are happy to be supported by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Environment, and also are very happy that this initiative was support all these young people, which are the future of this country”. Taskin added that Albania would be much beautiful and developed if all together care about the environment. “In spite of the cooperation with the two ministries is closed with Kamez activity, Eagle Mobile will continue the campaign on Saturday in Pogradec, where our staff will give their personal contribution in cleaning the environment,” concluded Taskin.
Meanwhile, Environment Minister Mediu said that “Saturday is the World Environment Day and the day of completion of the campaign launched by Eagle Mobile, but the environment will not end with this campaign. We need to make this issue our personal awareness.
Mediu especially thanked Eagle Mobile and “Ibrahim Rugova” high school students for supporting this initiative to move in the way of protecting the environment.
On the other side, Education Minister Tafaj praised the contribution of Eagle Mobile initiative and agreement with the two ministries, and added that environmental education has an important value in the education program.
“I encourage the students to have many activities to protect the environment and also encouraged other businesses to support the initiatives of the nature,” said Tafaj.
Kamez was the final stop of the long tour that Eagle Mobile undertook with high school students and the environmental officials in Durres, Vlore, Lezhe, Kukes and Tirana. More than 3000 students nationwide have been involved in this initiative, becoming an example for all citizens.
But this is not the last activity of Eagle Mobile in this campaign. The managers of the company will be together on 5th of June in Pogradec to personally give their civil contribution and example in cleaning the environment.
Eagle Mobile declared 2010 “Year of Environment” and despite this, various projects have been undertaken, such as tree planting in public areas, restoration of parks, construction of playgrounds for children and sensitizing campaigns.
