London UK, 22 March 2010 – 63336 (formerly known as AQA 63336), the UK’s first and most accurate text question and answer service, today announces that it has answered 22 million questions from over 2.2 million customers.
63336, which was launched in April 2004, is designed to answer any question sent via premium text or from the 63336 mobile app in minutes. Answers are provided by a highly skilled workforce of over 900 home-based researchers, 95% of whom reside in the UK.
“Since launch 63336 has led the market in providing the fastest, most accurate, and most entertaining way to get answers to any question from your mobile phone. With the recent launch of the 63336 mobile app we’ve also started providing the ‘63336 buzz’: entertaining and informative content based on the top questions that everyone else is asking 63336. In the last six weeks, users of the 63336 mobile app have quadrupled, and 7% of users check 63336 buzz every day,” said Paul Cockerton, Communications Director.
63336 launched a java-based app, for the majority of UK phones, in November 2009 and followed up with an iPhone app in January 2010. Developed in-house, 63336 has also created bespoke 63336 apps for handset manufactures and operators, including a custom app for Samsung, and a widget for Vodafone 360, with more in development.
“The 63336 mobile app provides an easier way for customer to ask questions, and enables us to provide other features, such as offering free questions, displaying the customers’ previous history, and content such as 63336 buzz and the top 5 questions each day,” said Paul Cockerton.

The 22 millionth question, asked at 8pm on Fri 19th March, was “When was pretty green eyes realised by ultrabeat ya daft dafty?”. 63336 answered with “Pretty Green Eyes by Ultrabeat was released in 2003 and reached No. 2 in the UK singles charts. It contains the lyric ‘Never ever be alone’.”
