Mr Hnidi will lead UTStarcom’s efforts in expanding its presence and driving its business and sales activities in the Middle East and has over 17 years of technical, sales, operations and management experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior to joining UTStarcom, Mr Hnidi was responsible for business development and market strategy within the Stratus Telecom group, focusing on fixed-mobile convergence market opportunities. Mr Hnidi has also worked at Encore Networks, where he served as VP, product strategy, and has held senior technical, sales and management roles at Santera Systems, Lucent technologies, Ascend Communications, MCI and BT.
