The project will enable Vodafone to implement a single, real-time repository for all subscriber and service profiles – creating a much simpler, flexible platform that can be rapidly adapted to match user demand while ensuring greater speed of service creation, delivery and optimisation.

Apertio One-NDS is a real-time, resilient and distributed data and application-hosting environment for 2G, 2.5G and 3G telecommunications networks. It provides a single centralised repository for all subscriber, service and network data. Mobile, fixed and converged communications operators are using Apertio’s real-time One-NDS to liberate ‘locked up’ data from proprietary hardware infrastructure.
This significantly reduces the complexity and cost of the core network, places the subscriber at its core, and by providing the ability to control and manage data across multiple access points and devices, delivers the ideal platform for deploying IMS.
