Everbridge, a global provider of SaaS-based unified critical communications solutions, announces its platform sent more than one billion messages to more than 200 countries and territories around the world in 2015, on average sending more than 30 messages per second.
The company continued to improve the scalability, security, and performance of its SaaS-based platform in 2015, unveiling new and enhanced solutions to automate critical communications processes for Mass Notification™, Incident Management™, Community Engagement™, IT Service Alerting, Secure Messaging, and Internet of Things (IoT).
New Everbridge applications include Intelligent Profiles™, which integrates physical access control systems data with multi-factor location awareness data from travel, network, and access systems, and Community Engagement™, which merges emergency management with community outreach to enable local governments to connect residents to public safety resources and neighbours.
Everbridge also launched SecureBridge™, a new solution designed for corporations. The mobile application protects the confidential nature of conversations by enabling employees to securely communicate via text, voice and video with customers and colleagues. Recently in EMEA, a global banking corporation deployed SecureBridge to facilitate compliance and secure messaging across their enterprise.
Since 2002, Everbridge has helped more than 2,500 corporations and communities to assure and simplify the exchange of messages that have to reach the intended recipient. Everbridge solutions are deployed by some of the world’s biggest brands.
With its new and enhanced product suite, Everbridge added more than 500 new corporate, healthcare, and government customers in 2015. New EMEA customers included Axel Springer, Ricoh Europe, University of Notre Dame and Guardian News.
The company also added more than 100 new employees, including CFO Ken Goldman, Managing Director of EMEA, Nick Hawkins, and General Counsel, Elliot Mark.
