Notebook Design is probably the world’s first and only company that transforms portable computers to brand-profiled professional tools. The business idea is as simple as it is unique. The computer lid is branded and adapted after the customer’s requirements regarding design, colour and brand. Further more the risk of theft is reduced when computers are customised.
We have got a jump start in the UK. Currently we are in discussions with a number of companies with a potential of 10,000 units over the next two years. The combination of building your brand and minimising theft simultaneously strikes most company leaders’ chord,
states Alexis Aminoff, Managing Director at Notebook Design. Notebook Design has during the last months signed license agreements with English and Scottish football clubs; Tottenham Hotspurs, West Ham United and Glasgow Rangers among others. The agreements run over a three-year-period and have a sales potential of millions of customised notebooks.
Each football team has thousands of loyal supporters who value their club colours higher than anything. The branded notebooks have been received by great enthusiasm amongst the supporters,
states Alexis Aminoff. Schools and universities have showed great interest in branding computers due to their escalating problems with smash and grab crimes. Notebook Design has supplied twenty schools in the country with branded notebooks. A branded notebook is less susceptible to theft since it is a complicated operation to neutralize a branded computer and make it attractive on the black market. By branding the computer lid using university colours and selling it exclusively to enrolled students the schools are enabled to insure their computers again.
Notebook Design’s customers range from top football clubs to multinationals including, the German Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart, the car renting company Sixt, the confectionary giant Cadbury and the school Down End.
To serve the demand from US companies, Notebook Design recently established a wholly-owned subsidiary based in St. Louis, Missouri.
