Ankara Vice District Treasurer, Cemil Boyali announced the list of tax record holders which was formed as a result of corporate tax statements for the year 2004 that had been submitted in April.
8 companies out of 10 that are in the tax record holders list for the capital of Turkey were state foundations.
Turkish Telecom stated 3 billion and 473 million YTL as income and tax accrued for this revenue is 1 billion and 146 million YTL, which brings the foundation to the top of the list. Ziraat Bank is the second with 853 million YTL and Vakiflar Bank is the third with 247 million 498 thousand YTL in tax payables.
Turkish Telecom had been the record holder for Ankara Corporate tax with 536 billion YTL in the year 2002 and with 900.2 billion YTL in the year 2003.
