Leap into action this spring and nominate a Future Leader for the sixth annual Women in the City Future Leaders Award, sponsored by Cap Gemini, the ICAEW, and HSBC. The prestigious Award scheme recently opened for nominations and aims to identify high potential women at the transition between management and leadership.
Open to women working in any sector, function or role within the UK for organisations (private, public or third sector) employing 250 or more people, the Award seeks to showcase the leadership talent of women, and to provide a platform for women to demonstrate their leadership qualities.
Nominations are now sought for women who, at a relatively young age, are making a contribution beyond their functional, technical or specialist area.
The top five reasons to nominate a Future Leader are :-
- Recognise and reward a valuable employee and the contribution she makes to the overall success of the business or organisation
- Boost careers by identifying high potential within your management team
- Raise awareness of her work to external audiences including stakeholders, clients and the media
- Shine the spotlight of attention on her employer’s brand
- Push the gender diversity and inclusion agenda up a notch.

Nominations for the Women in the City Future Leaders Award 2015 opened on Wednesday 1st April 2015 and application forms will be sent to all nominated women. Application forms need to be completed and returned by 22nd May 2015. A maximum of 10 candidates will be selected to be interviewed by the Judging Panel.
