Pargem, one of the leading companies in communications integration, appointed Tayfun Türkalp, an experienced name of information technologies sector, as General Manager. Türkalp has also become the General Manager of Borusan Bilisim, the distributor of many new-generation communications solutions in Turkey.
Türkalp is expected to make Pargem and Borusan Bilisim start a new move in a period, where positive signs in economy began to appear and technological investments will accelerate. Being a high-level manager, for many years, in Alcatel, one of the pioneer companies of World’s telecommunications sector, Türkalp was the General Manager of NextireOne, just before his current position.
Saying that he has been enduring his career in information and communication technologies sectors for the last 20 years, Tayfun Türkalp, noted that he is very glad to take office in Pargem and Borusan Bilisim, which are the pioneers of this field. About his new function Türkalp said:
“I believe that we will start a new move period in Pargem and Borusan Bilisim by the support of experienced, specialized staff, as well as other associates and Borusan. Our target will be spreading audo, data and visual communication and the latest technologies in this field all over Turkey. In this scope, on one hand we will intensify the leadership of Pargem in the field of communication integration with new service models, on the other hand we will improve Borusan Bilisim’s product scale for new-generation communication, which we will offer to a wider scale of resellers. We are planning to convey our value added services to a very wide mass of customers with Bnet and our other associates. It is important for our country’s business world to integrate new technologies to their business process immediately in order to be able to compete in global markets.”

Graduated from Middle Eastern Technical University in the year 1979, Tayfun Türkalp, has been engaged in high level management in establishments conducting activity in fields of information and communications since 1984. After continuing his career as Marketing Manager of NCR Data Processing Systems between the years 1984 and 1993, Türkalp established his own company, Test Teknoloji, in 1993 and became the distributor of NCR, AT&T as well as Siemens.
Türkalp was transferred to Alcatel Turkey as the Country General Director in 1998. Continuing his career as General Manager of Alcatel e-Commerce distribution and Marketing Company between the years 2000 and 2002, he was then appointed by Platinum Equity, who purchased the establishment worldwide, as General Manager of NextiraOna Turkey. Moreover Türkalp is also still functioning as the Chairperson of Board of Director of TÜTED (Society of All Telecommunications Businessmen).
