It is reported that Vivendi has made this statement after the related news published in some newspapers and other press organizations. Although the firm does not reveal any details yet, rumors show that Oger Telecom is interested in 30-35% of the shares.
Oger Telecom intended to initial public offering (IPO) last November in London and Dubai stock markets but then reasoning the low demands, this sales plan was set back.
This information has been resounded in foreign news, but Oger Telecom clarified that they will not move on to IPO.
Oger Telecom operates in mobile services with Cell C in South Africa, mobile, fixed line and Internet access services with Turk Telekom and Avea in Turkey, and Internet access services with Cyberia in Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Jordan.
Saudi Oger is nowadays also drawing attention with its projects. Some examples are fence project to Iraq border, Abdali Boulevard project and $133 million worth Saudi Arabia Railway projects.
