Cable & Wireless today announced four new appointments to key positions within its Europe, Asia and US business.
Jesper Lauridsen has been appointed as Director of International. He will be responsible for developing a global proposition for enterprise and carrier customers, as well as leading the business and customer relations outside of UK. Jesper brings extensive commercial experience to this role, gained from various positions within Masterfoods – a division of Mars Inc – including Business Unit Director UK, Head of Business Development, and various senior marketing roles. Before this, Jesper Lauridsen was MD within the Eastern European markets.
Kevin Manuel joins as Director of Government and SI. In his new role, he will be responsible for continuing the transformation journey for our Public Sector and Systems Integrator clients. Kevin has a wealth of knowledge for this position, obtained from his previous role as Managing Partner, Europe and the UK, for Unisys Limited and prior to that as President, Northern Europe and the UK, for Fujitsu Consulting Group.
Phil Lobo has joined as Head of Enterprise Delivery. He will oversee the service experience for our Enterprise Clients. Phil comes to Cable & Wireless with an in-depth understanding of the sector gained from a number of senior positions held in major enterprise organisations. Until recently, he was Head of Public Sector Systems Integration for Atos Origin in the UK and before that, Managing Director for Atos KPMG Consulting. Before this, Philip spent 20 years in management consulting and information technology services.
Colm Coffey has been appointed as OD & Change Director. In this role, Colm will drive the company talent agenda and support the business transformation, to ensure that by investing in colleagues, Cable & Wireless will continue to differentiate itself in the global market. Colm brings deep expertise in this area, gained from his former role as Senior Vice President UK, America, Asia Pacific for Atos Origin, where he was responsible for all HR and Internal Communications activities. Prior to this, other roles at Atos Origin included UK HR Director and Global Head of People Development & HR Outsourcing.
