Paris, France – June 11, 2013 – Today Connection Events lifted the lid on its plans for Game Connection Europe 2013, taking place this December 3-5 in a brand new venue: Les Docks de Paris, France. After last year’s runaway success, with more than 1450 attendees, 211 exhibitors and 190 buyers from over 50 countries worldwide, the 2013 edition promises to take the event further than ever to cement the event’s reputation as the essential games industry meeting place. This year’s Game Connection Europe will appeal to the entire breadth of the video game industry, featuring again content from the marketing and communications part of the production pipeline.
“We’ve seen a tremendous amount of growth year over year” states Pierre Carde, Founder of Game Connection. “Our Meeting Application continues to excel at enabling executives to easily and efficiently set up meetings in an environment conducive to getting business done, and our most recent events in Asia and the US set the bar even higher”.
Game Connection Asia was in fact very productive, especially for the Iranian new-founded game development studio New Folder Games, which won the Selected Projects competition with its 2D puzzle platformer game “Hate the sin, love the sinner”.
“We were very excited to be nominated for the Selected Project program and we are now very grateful to Game Connection Asia”. Says Amir A. Meisami, Game Designer. “Winning among so many talented teams was amazing. When we started, our goal was to create a small game, with an exceptional quality; a unique puzzle game, beautiful both visually and in its gameplay. Today we’d like to think that people will enjoy playing our game as much as we had fun making it”
