24 September, 2012, Neuss – Toshiba Europe GmbH (TEG), Storage Peripheral Division, has today announced the launch of its smallest and thinnest portable hard drive yet, the STOR.E Slim[1]. This easy to use external storage device offers users high capacity storage of 500GB, with data protection to back up irreplaceable data. The STOR.E Slim has a sleek design with brushed aluminium, available in black or silver.
In a market where electronic devices are becoming increasingly thinner and lighter to fit into our busy, fast paced lives, the STOR.E Slim is perfectly designed to be portable and simple to use. The device is one of the thinnest, lightest and smallest on the market at 107mm long, 75mm wide and only 9mm thick, ideal for storage on the go. This HDD may be tiny, but boasts 500GB[2] of capacity. The STOR.E Slim is capable of storing up to 142,000 digital photos or 131,000 digital music files or 410 downloaded digital movies[3].
